My"Story"

Somewhere between structure and chaos

Me thinking about starting my Lifestyle blog

Finding balance in life is something I’ve been chasing — consciously or not — for years…

Hi! I’m Marciano, 25 years old, and for as long as I can remember, I’ve been moving. Football, fitness, running, Hyrox, hiking — it doesn’t really matter what it is, as long as it gets me going. I love trying new things, whether it’s a training routine, a meditation, a new cocktail bar down the block, or a random challenge. If it looks interesting to me, I’ll give it a go.

During the years I worked in hospitality, I was already deep into training. Even after long nights behind the bar, I’d still show up at the gym the next morning (most often then). I loved the contrast — the energy of nightlife and the structure of training. I enjoyed the chaos, but I craved the balance too.

And I still enjoy that mix. A good cocktail, a good glass of wine, even a heavy night out now and then — I’m not here to pretend I’ve got it all figured out. But over time, I’ve become more aware of how those choices affect me — my sleep, my training, my focus. I’m not perfect at it, not even close, but I’m figuring it out. Learning when to hit pause, when to say no, and how to enjoy the moment without letting it mess with the bigger picture. That space in between — between structure and spontaneity, between living and leveling up — is exactly what Marc in the Middle is about: finding balance in life in a way that actually works.

What I don’t like? The overhyped stuff you constantly see on social media — where everything is always amazing, and routines, bodies, and travel are made to look perfect and effortless. A lot of that simply isn’t doable for most people, and that’s okay. That doesn’t mean you’re lazy or not disciplined — it just means you need something that actually fits into your life.

And that’s why I started this blog. Everything I share here is based on personal experience — from travel and fitness to routines and reflections. You’ll get my honest take on it all. Gyms, food, beaches, mindset… no sugarcoating. Just the truth, from someone in the middle.

Curious what this looks like in real life?
